Returns & Refunds
The following information is here to aid the possible return and refund of a customers ordered spare part.
Damaged goods
All items that are despatched from sparesforhome.co.uk are thoroughly inspected for damage prior to been carefully packaged ready for despatch by our chosen courier. Once despatched it is then the responsibility of the purchaser to inspect the package prior to signing for on delivery. If on arrival the package appears damaged externally it should not be signed for until a further inspection is carried out of the items within. Only when this has been carried out and that the purchaser is happy to do so that the package is then signed for writing on the couriers sheet words of ‘damaged package on arrival – inspected ok’. Otherwise if not totally happy with the item simply reseal the package as best possible, take note of the couriers parcel number, hand it back to the courier and refuse to take delivery on this basis it arrived with damaged packaging.
Faulty goods
As with all mass manufactured goods there shall inevitably be a faulty item which fails in its designed function. For this we shall willingly either despatch a further item or refund your monies on receipt of the faulty item in the same condition as it was despatched to you. We cannot accept anything less than this as we cannot approach our supplier for a refund with an item that has been tampered with or is damaged.
